Sometimes the journey to becoming a parent is more complicated than you expected.
You may be navigating pregnancy anxiety, fertility treatment, or the emotional ups and downs that can come with trying to conceive.
Perhaps you feel pressure to stay hopeful for others, while privately carrying fear, uncertainty, or exhaustion.
You don’t have to hold all of this alone. Counselling can offer a gentle space to talk honestly about what you are going through, at your own pace.
When life changes in ways you never expected.
Pregnancy loss can bring grief that is difficult to explain to others. You may find yourself carrying sadness, shock, guilt, or questions that have no clear answers.
Even when people care, the experience can feel deeply personal and isolating.
Therapy can offer a compassionate space to process what has happened and find a way forward that honours your experience.
When life feels unfair and uncaring
Living with a chronic condition can affect far more than your physical health. It may bring changes to identity, work, relationships, and the plans you once held for the future.
You might feel exhausted from managing symptoms while trying to carry on as normal.
Counselling can offer a calm, understanding space to explore these changes and find ways of living with compassion and resilience.
Growing up can be hard, even when it doesn’t look that way from the outside.
You might be dealing with bullying, friendship difficulties, or feeling left out or misunderstood. School can feel overwhelming, with pressure to perform, fit in, or keep up, even when you’re already feeling stretched.
Stress, anxiety, low mood, or big emotions may start to build, sometimes without a clear reason. Feelings can become bottled up, and it may feel difficult to talk openly with family, teachers, or friends about what’s really going on.
I offer counselling for young people experiencing bullying, school stress, anxiety, low mood, or emotional overwhelm. Therapy provides a calm, supportive space where young people can talk openly, feel heard, and begin to understand their feelings without judgement. Sessions move at a pace that feels safe, respectful, and appropriate for their age, and are offered online for young people across the UK.
Parents or carers may seek therapy when they notice changes in mood, confidence, or behaviour, or when their child is struggling to cope with everyday pressures. Support is thoughtful, collaborative, and always guided by what feels right for the young person.
You don’t need to have everything figured out to start therapy.
You don’t need a clear story, or the “right” words.
If something in you is asking for space, rest, or understanding, that’s enough.
Therapy can be a place to slow down, to make sense of what you’ve been carrying, and to reconnect with yourself in a way that feels safe and supported.
When you feel ready, I’m here.
It would be a privilege to walk that part of the journey with you.
